About Us
The Kindred Spirits Ireland Event was created in July 2022. It was born out of Empathy, Compassion and Kindness in 1847 with a gift of kindness from one subjugated nation to another. In 2020, during the Covid Pandemic, the Irish people finally had a chance to repay the kindness shown to their ancestors in 1847 by the Choctaw nation, during the Great Hunger, (An Gorta Mor).
On 19th July 2022, on the 175th anniversary of the Choctaw gift, the Kindred Spirits Ireland Event was created to share in Celebration and Thanks; for it seemed the story had gone full circle. But a circle does not end…. Little did anyone realise at the time, but the story had only begun. Kindred Spirits Ireland and the Irish people were about to be woven into the very fabric of the five hundred year old indigenous prophecy of the Condor and the Eagle, recognized as a fellow indigenous nation and included in the indigenous Bio-Regions Sanctuary network. The connections and the story continues…
OUR GOVERNANCE

OUR MISSION
Founded in 2022, Kindred Spirits Ireland serves as a bridge between the Global South, Europe, and the Americas, uniting cultures in mutual understanding and peace. Rooted in Ireland’s deep, historical connection with the Indigenous peoples of the Americas, we honor a shared commitment to healing, respect, and cultural exchange. In 2023, the Irish people were entrusted by the Sacred Council of the Condor, Eagle, Quetzal, and Hummingbird, ancient symbols of wisdom, unity, vision, and love.
As guardians of Pachamama, we stand together for indigenous rights, global justice, and the protection of the Earth. Through dialogue, collaboration, and cultural celebration, we exemplify the power of unity and work toward a sustainable, peaceful future for all.

Kindred Spirits Ireland and Four Worlds International Institute
We are excited to partner with Four Worlds International Institute in support of our upcoming event. Their recognized expertise and commitment to fostering positive change align closely with our mission, adding valuable credibility to our efforts. We are grateful for their partnership and look forward to working together to make this event a success.

The Four Worlds International Institute (FWII) was established in 1982, at the University of Lethbridge, by Indigenous elders, spiritual leaders and community members from across Canada and the US.
FWII is an internationally recognized leader in holistic human, community, organizational and economic development because of the Institute’s unique focus on the importance of culture and spirituality in all elements of development. During the past 36 years FWII has worked extensively with Indigenous Peoples across the Americas and SE Asia.
The past four years a primary focus of FWII’S North American work is stopping the Alberta Tar Sands through supporting direct action, innovative social media approaches and actualizing International Treaties between Indigenous Nations. These efforts include: The International to Protect the Sacred from Tar Sands Projects, the International Treaty to Protect the Salish Sea and the Nawt-sa-maat Alliance.
In June, 2013, FWII officially opened the Four Worlds Foundation (FWF) at the City of Knowledge, Panama City, Panama. FWF serves as an international organizing and educational Hub for actualizing the Reunion of the Condor, Quetzal, and Eagle via the Fourth Way across the Americas and beyond! This unification effort, initiated in 1970 in Bolivia, was crystalized at the 5th Indigenous Summit of the Americas in Panama City, Panama in April, 2015, held in parallel with the 7th Summit of the Americas.
